The Multiplus-II combines the functions of the Multiplus and MultiGrid. It features all the capabilities of the MultiPlus unit, plus an option for an external transformer that extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to 32A. It also features all the capabilities of the MultiGrid, with built-in anti-islanding and a growing list of countries where it has been approved.
Note: for a short period, this product was called MultiGrid-II.
Power Assist
The MultiPlus-II will prevent overloading of a limited AC source, such as a connection to a generator or shore power supply. Firstly, the battery supply will be automatically reduced when an overload would normally occur. Secondly, it will boost the output voltage of a generator or shore power supply using power drawn from the battery.
ESS: Energy Storage Systems
MultiGrid II is the key component in a Victron ESS system, offering the flexibility to be combined with MPPT solar chargers or grid-connected PV inverters, for example.

A Multiplus-II with an LCD screen and GX functionality
The Multiplus-II GX integrates a Multiplus-II inverter/charger and a GX unit with a 2x16 character display.
Display and Wi-Fi
The display shows battery, inverter and solar charger control parameters.

The Multiplus inverter is a pure sine wave inverter, a sophisticated battery charger featuring adaptive charging technology, and a high-speed AC switch, all housed in a single compact unit. In addition to these core functions, the Multiplus offers numerous advanced features.
The main output provides uninterrupted power. The Multiplus inverter takes over the supply to connected loads in the event of a mains failure when standby power or generator power is low. This happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption. The second output only operates when AC is available at one of the Multiplus’s inputs.
In addition to connecting solar inverters in parallel, three units of the same model can be configured for a three-phase output. But the connection options do not stop there: up to 6 sets of 3 units can be connected in parallel to form a large 75 kW / 90 kVA inverter with a charging capacity exceeding 2000 A.

The DEYE single-phase inverter is suitable for residential use, maximising the rate of self-consumption of solar energy and increasing energy efficiency. During the day, the photovoltaic system generates electricity which is initially supplied to the loads. Any excess energy will then charge the battery or be fed into the grid.
