Description
The MultiPlus-II is a multifunctional inverter/charger featuring all the capabilities of the MultiPlus, plus an external current sensor that extends the PowerControl and PowerAssist functions to 50 A and 100 A respectively. The MultiPlus-II is ideally suited for professional marine, recreational marine, automotive and onshore island applications. It also features a built-in anti-islanding function and is included in a long and growing list of national approvals for ESS applications. Various system configurations are possible. The MultiPlus offers numerous advanced features.
The MultiPlus-II can be used in both grid-connected and off-grid photovoltaic systems, as well as in other alternative energy systems. It is compatible with both solar charge controllers and grid-connected controllers.
The main output is uninterruptible. In the event of a power cut or when the shore power supply/generator is disconnected, the MultiPlus-II takes over the power supply to connected loads. The second output is live only when AC power is available at the MultiPlus-II input. Loads that do not drain the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.
