Alternatively, the SmartShunt can also be connected to and read by a GX device. The connection to the SmartShunt is made via a VE.Direct cable. The SmartShunt is a good alternative to a BMV battery monitor, particularly for systems where battery monitoring is required but fewer cables and less clutter are desired.
