The UTi720E thermal camera is a top-of-the-range infrared camera, designed to measure the surface temperature of objects in the range from -20°C to +550°C in two manually switchable sub-ranges (-20°C to +50°C and +150°C).
The camera contains 49,152 uncooled vanadium oxide pixels, each with a diameter of 12 μm. The thermal image of objects, converted into a visible image using the selected colour palette, can be overlaid onto the image in the visible light range. A further 2 million pixels for visible light handle this. Setting the system date and time and generating QR codes for each photograph facilitates the subsequent classification of photographs.
