UNI-T UT682 UTP Cable Tester (RJ45)
This product comes with a 3-year warranty. The UNI-T UT682 wire tracing system consists of a transmitter and a receiver. It features functions such as telephone wire tracing, network cable tracing (RJ45/UTP), cable tracing, network cable testing, etc., and offers fast and accurate measurement. The UT682 is an ideal tool for personnel involved in the installation and maintenance of low-voltage systems, such as communication cables and integrated circuits.

Telephone line monitoring function
A. Connect the telephone line plug to the transmitter’s RJ11 interface;
B. Set the transmitter’s function selector switch to the ‘TEST’ position. The ‘Status’ line tracing indicator will light up, indicating that the transmitter is operating correctly;
C. Hold down the receiver’s “Press to Test” button and search for the target cable with the receiver’s probe.
D. During testing, gently press the “Switch” button to toggle between single and dual audio test modes.
Network line tracing function
A: Connect the network line with a crystal head to the transmitter’s RJ45 interface;
B. Set the transmitter’s function selector switch to the “TEST” position; the “Status” line tracing indicator will flash, indicating that the transmitter is functioning correctly;
C. Hold down the receiver’s ‘Press to Test’ button and search for the target cable with the receiver’s probe.
D. During testing, gently press the “Switch” button to toggle between single and dual audio test modes.
Power cable line tracing function (the power cable must not be live)
A. Connect the transmitter to the metal cable using crocodile clip adapter cables;
B. Set the transmitter’s function selector switch to the ‘TEST’ position; the ‘Status’ line tracing indicator will flash, indicating that the transmitter is functioning correctly;
C. Hold down the receiver’s “Press to Test” button and search for the target cable with the receiver’s probe.
D. During testing, gently press the “Switch” button to toggle between single and dual audio test modes.
