Description
The Quattro solar photovoltaic sine-wave inverter can be connected to two independent AC sources, such as the mains supply and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro inverter will automatically connect to the active source.
The Quattro solar photovoltaic sine wave inverter takes over the supply to connected loads in the event of a grid failure when the backup power or generator power is low. This happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption. The second output operates only when AC power is available at one of the Quattro’s inputs. Loads that should not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.
Up to 10 Quattro inverters can be operated in parallel to achieve a higher output power. For example, ten Quattro 48/10000/140 inverters will provide 90 kW / 100 kVA of output power with a charging capacity of 1400 A.
