Description
The Quattro inverter can be connected to two independent AC sources, such as the mains supply and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro inverter will automatically switch to the active source.
The inverter takes over the supply to connected loads in the event of a mains failure when the backup power or generator power is low. This happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption. The second output operates only when AC is available at one of the Quattro’s inputs. Loads that should not drain the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.
Up to 10 Quattro inverters can be operated in parallel to achieve a higher output power. For example, ten Quattro 48/10000/140 inverters will provide 90 kW / 100 kVA of output power with a load capacity of 1400 A.
