The UT683B Cable Tester Kit is a portable TDR cable tester, suitable for copper cables (CAT 5E, CAT 6, CAT 6A or CAT 8), which is used to detect and diagnose the connection status of twisted pair and coaxial cables, network pair services, short cables/detection, cabling, network pairs, cabling and faulty cables, etc. It can also be used to detect whether there is a PoE source (POE mode) in the network cabling and the PoE standard (802.3AF, 802.3AT, 802.3BT). A wiring diagram, cable length, location of the broken circuit and other information can be displayed simultaneously on the screen. The cable tester is characterised by accuracy, ease of use and a clear display, making it an ideal tool for network communications maintenance.
