The UT 387S is a wall scanner capable of detecting ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electrical cables and wooden structures hidden within walls, ceilings, floors and behind plasterboard. Additional features include a laser for convenient distance measurement and a wood moisture detector. The device features a large 2.4” display, which shows icons for the objects found: wooden object, small metal object (nail), large metal object (steel structure), small non-magnetic metal (cable, wire), small quantity of metal objects (cables, nails) It indicates the depth of the objects and the presence of AC voltage (the best electromagnetic wiring when searching for wiring) when connected to the device and the device is switched on.
