Description
This product comes with a 3-year warranty. The UT276A+ from UNI-T is a clamp-on tester for earth resistance. Based on the principle of mutual induction, it can measure earth resistance without disconnecting the earth conductors and without auxiliary electrodes, in both multi-point and single-point earthing systems.
The tester is designed for professional use, with resistance to shocks, dust and humidity, and is controlled by a microprocessor for precise identification of earth resistance, including via the rapid interference filtering method. It is designed for measuring earthing systems in power stations, power distribution and telecommunications, oil fields, computer rooms, electromechanical installations and maintenance in industrial plants, wherever electricity is used as an industrial power source, or where it is necessary to check the earthing resistance of lightning protection systems. The device measures earth loop resistance from 0.01 Ω to 500 Ω with a resolution of 0.001 Ω; the measured values are shown on a four-digit backlit EBTN display (data shown against a dark background). The unit is powered by four 1.5V alkaline batteries.
