Instructions for testing network cables:
- Connect the RJ45 connectors at both ends of the network cable to be tested into the corresponding ports on the transmitter and receiver.
- Set the transmitter switch to the ‘Test’ position, and the ‘VERIFY’ indicator will light up, signalling normal operation.
- Depending on the sequence of lights, you can identify short circuits, open circuits or reversed pairs.
The tester allows the use of the automatic scanning method for rapid testing of cable pairs and identification of connection problems.
