Sunerg HV12 is a U-pipe solar collector (solar panel) that converts solar energy into thermal energy used for heating domestic hot water. It consists of 12 glass tubes, each containing a U-shaped copper tube attached to an aluminum plate that converts solar energy into thermal energy. The absorption surface area is larger than the gross surface area due to the use of a back reflecting surface (CPC), which optimizes the direct and diffuse radiation from morning to evening. This type of construction makes it possible to achieve high performance compared to other evacuated tube collectors without CPC reflector, and prevents heat loss, even at sub-zero temperatures.
