This product comes with a 3 year warranty. The UT343A is a highly accurate paint thickness gauge that can measure paint thickness on ferrous (ferromagnetic) and non-ferrous (paramagnetic and diamagnetic) metals.
Electrically non-conductive or conductive lakes on ferromagnetic metals, such as steel, can be measured by galvanized or electromagnetic (e.g., galvanized or electroplated steel) induction (the instrument setting symbol is Fe), which measures the thickness of the lake as a function of the amount of magnetic flux flowing from the sensor through the non-ferrous magnetic lake to the ferromagnetic substrate.
You can measure the thickness of electrically non-conductive paints on non-magnetic metallic materials, such as aluminum or copper, using the Eddy (NFe) setting symbol (eS) measurement method. The principle is to measure the eddy differences el. instrument generated currents in a non-magnetic metallic substrate.
This device is characterized by highly accurate, non-destructive paint thickness measurement and the function of single-point and multi-point averaging algorithm and fast measurement. Automatic substrate type detection, large thickness measurement range from 0 to 1850 μm, automatic conversion of μm to mil units, up to 199 groups of measurements can be stored in memory. Simple multi-point calibration on calibrated samples included.
Widely used in metal production and processing, aviation, ship mechanics, railway transportation, scientific research, quality control and defectoscopy in automotive and other industries in laboratories, workshops and outdoor areas.
