The UDP3305C programmable DC power supply is a cost-effective, four-channel independent laboratory power supply from UNI-T. The power supply contains a classic linear transformer, and channels CH1 and CH2 allow operation in constant voltage (CV) mode in the range from 0 to 30V or in constant current (CC) mode from 0 to 5A. Channel CH3 provides a constant output voltage with the option of selecting a level of 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, or 5.0V and has overload protection when the current consumption reaches 3.2A. In addition, there is a USB connector on the front panel, which serves as channel CH4 and can be used to charge, for example, a mobile phone with a voltage of 5V/2A.
CH1 and CH2 can operate independently, or they can be connected internally in series or in parallel, then the source provides a voltage from 0 to 60V or/0 to 50V or/0 30V/10A.
The laboratory source has an EBTN display with 6 high-precision indicators that simultaneously display voltages, currents, and powers in each of both channels CH1 and CH2 with 4-digit accuracy.
The power supply has programmable parameters. It has 5 memories for easy storage and recall of set modes and a lock button to prevent unwanted parameter changes. On the back of the power supply case are the USB-Device and RS232 connectors and the DIGITAL I/O interface for remote control of the power supply. Using the supplied software, it is possible to record and display the consumption or load characteristics of the connected load in real time on the connected PC in an Excel table or graph, and based on SCPI communication commands, it can communicate with the computer. Regular calibrations can be performed via software.
The source contains a temperature-controlled fan, and the long-term temperature overload of the laboratory source transformer is monitored by sensors that shut down the source when the limit value is reached and restart it after cooling.
