With a power range from 3.0 to 8.2 KW, the Primo family of inverters from Fronius completes the series of inverters equipped with SnapInverter technology. This type of single-phase, transformerless equipment is particularly aimed at the private residential segment. SnapInverter technology makes installation and maintenance of this equipment easier than ever. The standard communication features including WLAN, energy management functions, numerous interfaces and much more make the Fronius Primo grid inverter a highly user-interactive device.

• Snap Inverter - is a standardized clamping system, making installation and maintenance easier than ever. A special feature of this equipment is that the connection area is separate from the inverter power area, the latter being two distinct, separately installed modules. The inverter (the power module) is simply fixed in the bracket clamped on the support. Maintenance is thus an easy process, as there is no need to disassemble the entire inverter, the connection part remains fixed.
• Data Communication Integrat Fronius - is the first manufacturer to equip its inverters with a data communication package, consisting of integrated datalogging, WLAN, Ethernet, energy management, web server and a series of interfaces for user interaction. The inverter can be connected to the internet via network cable or Wlan.
• Superflex design - represents an ingenious combination of technical features - two MPP tracers, high operating voltage, wide input voltage range. These technical attributes make it possible to achieve outstanding performance throughout a sunny day, as well as in configurations with different roof orientations.
• Dynamic Point Management - is an algorithm for the MPP tracker, which automatically identifies the optimal operating point. Its main feature is that, it identifies the Global Maximum Power Point even in less sunny weather for increased efficiency of the entire PV system.
• Smart Grid Ready Options - All Fronius inverters are equipped to meet the demands of the power grids of the future. A number of SMART functions, including some to control and monitor the injection of reactive and effective power into the grid, are already built into the inverter. These SMART functions are aimed at stabilizing the grid in operation and avoiding unwanted interruptions in the injection phase. Furthermore, where injection limits exist, Fronius inverters can offer interactive injection control taking into account self-consumption. • Zero Network Injection - Most energy operators in different countries condition the installation of a photovoltaic system to the existence of a threshold of energy injected into the national energy system. The inverter prioritizes supplying domestic consumers, reducing the amount of energy injected up to the limit imposed by the energy operator. This threshold can be configured via the web interface of the inverter.
