UT500 series electrical insulation testers are used to measure the insulation resistance of electrical equipment and household appliances during regular inspections. This is accomplished by measuring the insulation resistance between the electrical circuits or between the circuits and the ground (equipment ground). UT500 series can measure insulation resistance, AC voltage, low resistance, PI (polarization index) and DAR (dielectric absorption). The individual UT500 series devices differ from each other in the test voltage ranges (UT501A 100V to 1000V, UT501B 250V to 1000V, UT502A 500V to 2500V), the maximum measured insulation resistance (UT501A 5G0Ω to M 5GΩ, UT502A 0MΩ to 20GΩ) and other parameters.

These testing and inspection devices ensure the proper functioning of transformers, generators, high-voltage motors, power capacitors, power cables, arresters, circuit breakers, electrical machines, and appliances. They are ideal devices for performing electrical maintenance and are manufactured in accordance with IEC61010 and IEC61557 standards.
