This product comes with a 3-year warranty. The UT309A professional non-contact infrared thermometer can quickly and accurately determine the surface temperature in the range from -35°C to +450°C by measuring the infrared energy radiated from the target surface. The UT309A is a highly durable device, suitable for everyday use. It is drop-resistant from 3m and its excellent IP65 protection rating ensures good resistance to water and dust. The UT309A has a fixed emissivity of 0.95 and a targeting laser, which indicates the correct targeting of the thermometer. The ratio of distance to measured surface diameter is 10:1 with this instrument. The preset functions and measured temperature values are shown on a high-contrast black and white LCD display, and exceeding the temperature limits is indicated by LEDs (exceeding the upper limit is shown in red and the lower limit in blue). It is possible to set a continuous measurement, when after 2 minutes the backlight of the display turns off, after completing the measurement by pressing the trigger button again, the temperature value remains on the display. The temperature measurement time is up to 250 msec in 95% cases. It is possible to indicate the minimum, maximum, and average temperatures and the difference between the highest and lowest measured temperatures (MIN, MAX, AVG, DIF). The thermometer automatically turns off to reduce power consumption if it is not used for 8 seconds. This shutdown can be disabled.
