UNI-T UT278A+ meter grounding clamp

This product comes with a 3-year warranty. The UT278A+ device from manufacturer UNI-T is a clamp tester for grounding resistances. Based on the principle of mutual induction, it can measure grounding resistances without disconnecting the grounding conductors and without auxiliary electrodes, in multi-grounding and single-grounding systems. Unlike a similar instrument, the UT276A+ has an extended ground loop resistance measurement range of up to 1200Ω and can also measure ground loop leakage currents in the range from 0.00 mA to 20.0 A.
The tester is designed for professional use, with resistance to shock, dust, and moisture, and is controlled by microprocessors, including for accurate resistance identification. It quickly filters out interfering signals using advanced arithmetic methods. It is designed for measuring grounding systems in power plants, power distribution and telecommunications, oil fields, computer rooms, electromechanical installations and maintenance in industrial facilities, wherever electricity is used as an industrial energy source, or where it is necessary to check the grounding resistance of the lightning rod. The device measures ground loop resistance from 0.01 Ω to 1200 Ω with a resolution of 0.001 Ω and leakage currents from 0 to 20 A. the measured values are shown on a four-digit EBTN display with backlighting (data appears on a dark background), and at the same time, the values can be stored in the internal memory up to 30 values. The device is powered by four 1.5V alkaline batteries.
