The Quattro solar photovoltaic sine wave inverter can be connected to two independent AC sources, such as the power grid and a generator, or two generators. The Quattro inverter will automatically connect to the active source.

The Quattro solar photovoltaic sine wave inverter takes over the supply to the connected consumers in the event of a grid failure when the back-up power or generator power is low. This happens so quickly (in less than 20 milliseconds) that computers and other electronic equipment will continue to operate without interruption. The second output only works when AC is available at one of the Quattro's inputs. Consumers that should not discharge the battery, such as a water heater, can be connected to this output.

Up to 10 Quattro inverters can operate in parallel to achieve a higher power output. For example, ten Quattro 48/10000/140 inverters will provide 90 kW/ 100 kVA output power with a load capacity of 1400 A.
